Children Parliament

Wesley College counts in an honour to announce  that Nabeel Barry has been selected among the 75 children who were chosen from the nine provinces of Sri Lanka, to represent the first ever Children Parliament in the world. The selection process was done by the United Nation Friendship Organization.  Nabeel Bary, along with the rest of the 74 students underwent a training on the 29th of February and the Children Parliament was declared open on the 1st of March, 2020, by the Honorable Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse & Hon. Minister Thilanga Sumathipala. The objective of this initiative is to present their Sustainable Development Goal ideas to the President.

Nabeel Bary has always proven his ability to express his ideas lucidly in a coherent and convincing manner and  Wesley College is  indeed proud of his accomplishment.
